Our hotel

We gathered all the team members, from New York, Oregon, Salt Lake City and Colorado, and all the giant pieces of luggage…sutures, scalpels, anesthesia machines, intubation trays, and all manner of supplies…and filled up a bus. Needless to say, this took quite some time. We arrived at the hotel and unloaded the bus, got our rooms, some snacks, and it’s 3 am. Our air conditioner sounds like a Sherman tank, but we are happy to have it. There is not going to be any AC at the hospital. Now for a quick snooze, and tomorrow we meet to plan logistics.

Yours in healing, sb

Hola SB, HB, and Marianella! So glad to hear you landed safely and are in 5-star digs complete with air-conditioning! You went to great lengths to avoid faculty seminar day hahaha. Be safe and have fun! GS
